The Syracuse SkyChiefs were defeated by the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons Saturday afternoon, 6-2, at the Blue Jays Englebert Complex in Dunedin, Florida.

The Red Barons broke a 2-2 tie by scoring three runs in the seventh inning, then added an insurance run in the eighth.

Blue Jays third baseman Cory Koskie played for the SkyChiefs and had two hits in four at-bats and scored a run. Justin Singleton also had two hits and Ryan Roberts hit a homerun.

Seung Song started the game for the SkyChiefs and went three innings allowing one run.

The SkyChiefs (1-2) will travel to take on the same Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons in Clearwater at 1:00 PM tomorrow.
