Four SkyChiefs pitchers combined for 11 strikeouts as the Syracuse SkyChiefs defeated the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons 3-1 in a Spring Training Game in Dunedin, Florida Sunday afternoon.

Chris Baker started the game on the mound for the SkyChiefs, allowing two hits and one run while striking out two Red Barons hitters in three innings of work. SkyChiefs relievers combined for six scoreless innings: Francisco Rosario went two innings allowing one hit while striking out three; Robert Lee threw three hitless innings, striking out four; Mike Smith closed out the game for Syracuse going one inning with two strikeouts.

Guillermo Quiroz got things started for the SkyChiefs by hitting a two-run home run in the bottom of the first inning. Alexis Rios was 2-for-2 with a run scored, a stolen base and an RBI.
